H. Disston hand saw. Approximately 24". This is a nice historical Disston saw with an eagle medallion and etch that looks like it says, "Henry Disston & Son". There is some patina just after "Son" so it is hard to tell if there is an S, but I don't think there is. The design of the eagle medallion, split nuts, and one son etch would date this saw to the early 1860s.

The teeth are in very good condition. The blade has a bit of a curve. The bottom part of the handle was broken off at some point and it is held to the rest of the handle with a nail and screw. The split nut for the top saw bolt is missing and the nib is also missing.

This saw has not been cleaned or sharpened.
