This saw is as-found. It's a 28" blade with an etch that reads "Henry Disston". This means it was made before his first son joined the company in 1865. This is also when Disston started etching their saws instead of stamping them, so this is one of Disston's first etches. It's a No. 7 blade and the etch is strong. The teeth are filed in a rip pattern. The handle is a decent shop-made replacement.
