Very rare Cornelious Tenney patent hand saw. It's a 27 1/2" rip saw with 4 1/2 ppi. The saw has a small metal piece connecting the plate to the handle. This was patented by Cornelius Tenney in 1884. There are not many examples of this patented saw. This one is in incredible condition. It has a little tape residue on the blade that will come off easily. It has double etches and the handle is in pretty much perfect condition. It has a Warranted Superior Eagle Medallion and an intact nib. It's a very beautiful and rare saw.
