Ibbotson Brothers Backsaw

This is an interesting example of an Ibbotson Brothers backsaw. It's also stamped, "Globe Works", which may indicate that it was made between 1828 and 1845 when that shop was in operation. There is some wear adn damage to the handle. Someone started to retooth this saw by jointing the teeth all the down and started to cut new teeth with a hacksaw. Since this saw is not destined to be a user so I just let it be.
