Cleaned, Sharpened and ready use Sargent & Co. back saw. Since this is a larger back saw, I filed it with rip teeth so it could be used as a tenon saw.
Sargent saws are not very common. It has a warranted superior eagle medallion and (slightly damaged) lambs tongue. The lower horn had been broken and nailed back into place. I removed the nails and glued it to the handle. It's a solid yet rough repair. If desired, the repair could be refined to blend into the rest of the handle.
There's no movement between the handle and the blade. The blade isn't laser straight, but it cuts a straight line.
